Admittedly, we were at the point of passing of renovation projects in 2020 and 2021. We started 6 custom home building projects in 2021, resulting from low interest rates and a mass exodus from the City of Chicago to the suburbs. Then reality hit and interest rates started to take off. We started saying yes to renovation projects, such as finished basements, kitchen and bathroom renovations. Embracing this change was crucial, allowing us to adapt swiftly and offer clients a diverse range of services tailored to their evolving needs. The important thing was we were not too late to react. Being stagnant in the small business environment can kill a business in the blind of an eye.
