Sprawling Ranch With Stucco and Stone Exterior Sets the Tone for Customization

We recently completed two identical new construction homes in the heart of downtown Naperville. Built side-by-side, these homes showcase timeless design with a focus on quality craftsmanship and classic curb appeal. This project was developed in partnership with an investor who has a long-term vision to expand his real estate portfolio in Naperville. These first two homes serve as the starting point of his strategy, offering both durability and style, while being positioned as long-term rental properties. The finished homes highlight SG Home Builders’ ability to deliver consistency and detail across multiple properties while aligning with an investor’s financial goals and vision for the future.

This 2,800 sq ft custom ranch is thoughtfully designed with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, perfectly situated on a private lot. A significant amount of planning went into the exterior, where a stucco and stone façade creates a bold, striking presence that stands out from a distance.

During pre-construction, the homeowners worked closely with our design team to make well-thought-out decisions long before breaking ground. Through detailed planning and multiple 3D rendering updates, they were able to visualize the home in advance and confidently refine layouts, finishes, and key design elements—giving them the tools needed to make informed decisions every step of the way.

Inside, the home features high ceilings and an open kitchen and great room layout, ideal for both daily living and entertaining. The clients are also completing a fully finished basement, bringing the total living space to over 5,000 sq ft—a major advantage for large ranch-style homes.
