We all want to “have it all” when it comes to the dreams of building your own custom home.  The reality is that we have to do our best to keep our emotions in check when it comes to building a your dream home.  Even if you have all the money that you need for the next 1,000 years and don’t know how you are going to spend it all.  It is important that you understand the limitations of the location that you are building at to assure that you do not price yourself out of the market.  Some of you will still make the decision to over upgrade your home, and that is fine as long as you know it.  Make sure you talk to the professionals in your area to understand what you can build and what upgrades are applicable when you decide to dive into custom homebuilding.
